Thank you for your continued interest and support for the X210Ai project!
As the Chinese New Year holiday approaches (Feb 12 – Mar 3, 2026), our team has decided to temporarily pause accepting new orders from both domestic and international customers starting late January 2026, so we can focus fully on producing existing orders and providing after-sales service. We will announce when orders reopen at a later date.
So far, we’ve received about 275 orders in total. Over the past four months since shipping began in September 2025, we’ve delivered close to 160 laptops. Since our team works on this project in our spare time, delivering around 40 laptops per month is already our maximum capacity.
We originally aimed to deliver all orders placed before October 2025 before Chinese New Year. However, due to the greater-than-expected complexity of screen modification, low production yield of screen casings, and recent frequent issues with our CNC machines, we’ve only been able to ship 1–2 laptops per week recently. As a result, around 10 orders from before October 2025 may be slightly delayed.
We are actively improving the modification process, and a new CNC machine is expected to arrive by the end of January. After the Chinese New Year holiday, we expect to resume—and potentially increase—our production capacity. Orders placed after October 2025 will start shipping from late March 2026.
We completely understand how eager you are to receive your laptop, and we’re truly sorry for the delays. Please know that we are not intentionally holding back orders—we are doing everything we can to ensure quality. We’ll keep working hard to make sure you receive a product you’re happy with.
