Control Board for Thinkpad X220 T60 Classic Keyboard

Designed by Chinese famous private studio “H”.

You can convert an old and unused ThinkPad into an external keyboard, or you can make a keyboard base chassis using other methods such as wood carving or 3D printing, and then use this main control board to convert the thinkpad keyboards into an external keyboard.

This control board could be use to modify Thinkpad keyboards and other keyboards into USB wired keyboards, which can be connected to desktops, laptops, industrial computers, tablets and other devices. The current version of Mac firmware has been repaired and can be used normally.

 

Features: The trackpoint function is ok, The Fn combination key can use some functions (currently tested multimedia functions such as fn+down direction to pause playback, next song, previous song, stop playback. fn+NmLk can open the numeric keypad.)
ThinkVantage keys can be customized and programmable. By default, win+E opens my computer

 

Please kindly note: No schematics or firmware codes are provided, JLC SMT patch, big factory quality.

 

The volume adjustment and mute are normal, the mic is invalid, the thinkvantage key is set to win+e to open the My Computer shortcut function, the power button is invalid, and the fn+direction keys can be used normally to pause the next song and other multimedia functions. fn+scrlk can open the numeric keypad, and other fn shortcut functions are invalid. The speed of the trackpoint can be adjusted, fn and ctrl can be exchanged, and the key functions can be customized.
